Who do you want to say "fuck you" to after all these years?

So true - my mom taught for 35 years and 15 of that was with special needs kids that and honestly can try every single fiber of your being. She had a 6' 6" 250 lb kid throw a desk at her while he was having a meltdown (thankfully, he missed).

Personally, I think she should have gotten the police involved, but nope, she walked with him out to the school's courtyard and calmed him down over the course of an hour by walking in circles around the courtyard and having him talk to her about what upset him in the first place (he'd had a verbal altercation with some other students just prior to class).

It worked and there were no further incidents in her class for the rest of the year.
