Who got to 41 wins the quickest?

Total roundup:

Driver Ahead Win% TotalWin Points% TotalPts
Schumacher (1991-2006) 82.6% 606% 86% 186% 65%
Schumacher (1991-2012) 73% 569% 85% 148% 59.6%
Senna 89% 273% 73% 162% 62%
Vettel 71.5% 350% 77% 140% 58%
Hamilton 61% 178% 64% 112% 53%
Prost 59% 196% 66% 164% 62%

So as we can see, each driver had strengths. Schumacher dominated his teammates in victories, and if you only count his original career, also in points scoring. But he probably had the weakest overall competition in his teams.

Senna, though, actually beat his teammate more. And as he was paired with Prost for two years, that's pretty damn good. He also scored the largest percentage of his team's points if Schumacher's full career is counted, edging ahead of Prost by scant tenths.

Prost outscored his teammates by the largest margin if Schumacher's entire career is counted. Probably no surprise; nobody was better at getting a car to the finish and in a points position than The Professor. And Prost had the strongest lineup of teammates, yet was outscored by the least and by the smallest amount.

Vettel finishes a solid second or third in most stats, but like Schumacher, has never had a truly proven world-class teammate, and had the worst season of any on this list against a relative newcomer. This doesn't detract too much from his record, but it makes it harder to rank him properly.

Hamilton is a notable last in all but one category, where he's a narrow second-to-last. But he's also faced more-equal drivers for longer periods in his teams than anyone but Prost.
