Who reads books just for the entertainment aspect?

Well, /u/Myslutyournut I'm surprised you have to ask this question... But ok... Since you asked...

Allow me to be the first person in your life to break this to you:

You are the boss of your own life!

Wow! Surprising! Isn't it!?

So ya, that means... as an adult now, you get decide what kind of books you read, and why you read them!

That's right: allow me to repeat: ever since you left high school or college, you now get to decide what books you read!

You're on your own now, for the rest of your life!

Nobody to tell you what to do!

Personally, finding myself in the same position as you...

90 percent of the books I read is for PURE fun. If I'm not having fun reading a book, I quit!

Let someone else read the book, but I'm not wasting my precious lifetime moments reading tedious, dreary, painful to get-through books!

The other 10 percent of books I read, I read because I must read them, to gain vital foundational knowledge on a topic... even though I'm not having any fun reading those books!
