I'll preface this as me trying to.avoid modern trends in entertainment and Hollywood. I don't say this to insult anyone, just to have basic needs met for James bond or 007, as they likely will look for a way to cast a female James bond at some point with current trends. Here's and outline of 007 and what he/she needs to be:
Athletic and mature. 007 is meant to fit in a room, not stand out like jack reacher or the rock. He's meant to be a spy so they can be athletic but they have to fit in multiple environments. This means they'll likely need to fit in a room filled with people who would be in posh and high society places. The point is they should be able to walk into an art gala hosted by millionares and a small shop in the country side and not stand out like a sore thumb. They're a spy not an action hero, so think like generally athletic not bodybuilder.
Charismatic and intelligent. This is more on the actor but ultimately 007 is meant to be a great spy capable of extracting information in a variety of ways and being clever, but also capable of thinking on thier feet and the actor should be able to reflect it even if the script isn't the best. This is a person who is suppose to be able to seduce, navigate and cleverly handle a wide variety of social situations from dealing with people trying to kill them to dealing with guys trying to gamble. They have to be able to pull that off.
For this I'll say who shouldn't be casted in the next James bond movie.
A teen or acting teen actor is out for me. To be clear I'm mean 20 somethings that look like they belong on a show like riverdale. No one that was a child actor under 30 or a model. For the love of God get someone who looks like they've done manual labor or can hold thier own in a fight, not some who looks like a they belong on an issue of men's health. So nobody like the Riverdale cast, nobody that would fit in on a netflix show or was on one, just an actual real looking adult.
Also please no 5 foot nothing 100 pound women that look like they live on a plant based diet and do yoga for exercise. If you're gonna make it a women make it a Ronda rhosey 5'6 or 5'8 women with some muscle. So no ruby roses. If you're gonna have 007 fight don't put a poodle in a cage fight with a bunch of pitbulls. It looks so bad during the action scinces.
Finally no body who just looks the part. James bond is suppose to be charismatic and smooth, please cast someone with that in mind.
Aside from that go wild. I don't care who plays the role, man, women, alien from rick and morty, just please don't make me cringe watching an unathletic, uncharismatic, and unrealistic casting.
