I think a consistent, regular goal scorer is vital, and not someone who seems to get patches of rich form is an absolute priority.

I think after that we need to consider who will leave and who probably should leave. I fully expect Arteta, Rosicky, and Flamini to go. If that's the case then I'd say Wenger found his Arteta replacement in Elneny, and considering Rosicky barely plays we'd lose nothing in replacing him with Toral and try him on for at least a season, the lad deserves that much.

If Chambers is to become a DM I think that covers us there for Flamini also. If not, it sounds like Hayden is a shout. I love how calm and calculated that guy is as a player and he has a very understated quality about his game but knows how to lead a line. He'd be great as a second choice, otherwise we buy an experienced DM who can fill in for Coquelin when those game are called for.

Debuchy and Jenkinson return this Summer (I know, technically Jenkinson is already back.) If neither stay then we should strongly consider a RB. Bellerin is exciting but still so young and needs to learn more about his game. We should do what we did with Gibbs and get a Monreal type player but for RB. Solid, experienced, plays their part.

Speaking of Gibbs, I don't think he'll want to play another season Monreal's shadows and I don't blame him. Gibbs is so underrated by our own fans it's ridiculous, and he deserves first team football. I expect he'd leave so I think if this Chiswell kid from Leicester is an option we should take it, but on the other end of the spectrum I say we try for Robertson at Hull. 23 I think, regular first team player, pretty solid in attack or defence, and will make a great impact next year in the PL. We'll worth giving him game time at Arsenal and letting him fit in while Monreal holds down the LB season for as long as he can.

We should seriously look into letting go of two players who I think I might get laughed at for, but it would be important to the team if we did. I love both Ramsey and Walcott as individuals and don't think they're as pants as they can look at times, I think they're fantastic footballers personally and deserve first team football, I believe they'd walk into the first team of many, many teams. I just don't believe they fit the Arsenal system. Both can be frustrating and we're at a stage as a club and squad where we need consistent quality. They're not consistent quality.

Ramsey is a better attacker but he can't score with regularity and we don't need that, and Walcott just doesn't get involved enough frankly. With the PL money coming in if we got offers for either of them it would be best for both club and player that they go and we use that money towards players that would be better for the team, whether the Kroos talks are real or if we could get Xhaka that would be great, we need someone who can do a bit more of what Cazorla has done basically and handle pressure and turn it into attack. On the wing, take your pick. I'd love anyone who can simply get involved more as a winger and provide better attacks (goals, assists, or combos), there are dozens of better choices this season. It's important though that we have players who can AND DO score goals consistently in the center and on the wings, as we cannot rely solely on our striker or Alexis to do it.

Ospina may want to leave this summer if the rumours earlier in the season were to be believed. I don't know if Szczęsny would be our backup or if we should sell both and look elsewhere.

Lastly a quality CB would be great as we transition our defenders, unless Chambers is definitely going to be our future CB then I think he'd be an excellent back up so I would have no problems there.

TL;DR new striker, replace Rosicky and Flamini, and give serious thought to RB and GK depth, and replacing Gibbs, Ramsey, and Walcott.
