Who wants to abolish billionaires? A look at the federal NDP's convention resolutions | CBC News

So does he not get rewarded for founding a company that saved hundreds of thousands of lives for not shopping in person and stopping the spread of COVID?

There is a difference between "rewarded" and "rewarded with so much money that he couldn't spend it if he lived large for a thousand years". Again with the weasel words—avoiding saying the reality of the situation, instead gotta use those euphemisms. Becoming a millionaire is a reward. Becoming a billionaire is more reward than anyone needs. Jeff Bezos could give away One hundred billion dollars and would still be one of the top 10 wealthiest men on earth. His company provides a valuable service—because of workers who piss in bottles because they can't meet quotas if they take breaks. How much reward does he deserve for something that, if he died tomorrow, would replace him and continue completely unobstructed? What value does he provide that is worth a decent percentage of a trillion dollars?
