I have a friend who refuse to play Dawnbreaker because she is female. Funny thing, before smhe saw the hero, I lied to him, told it was a dude with a hammer, who smash the flor on a swing, could throw his hammer for mobility, and ult globally falling star like on an ally and stun opponents and had the ahir that look like the mane of a lion. He was like "omg, best hero, gonna spam". When he saw her, the jokes started about her being fat. Dude is a jerk, dont talk to him anymore, point is, Marci is a monk, we dont know her training, but we know she has beyong human power and a strenght tand skill to toss people much larger then her.

If her persona was John Cena, she would be more accepted. She is cool man, she can channel her chakra to do some powerfull stuff, she is mobile but nothing supernatural aside from the speed buff and slow which can be explained due to chi, and her ult also.

And you should be proud you are in a game that women doesnt have to be seminaked or just be magical princess.

Dawn is power. Marci is dexterity. Just think as they being the female counterparts of Sven and Jugg. Plus, she is the third woman added in a row alone. That is really a boost to female population in Dota, and it was much needed. If you also count the female anti mage, and snapfire, Dota really expanded towards females, out of the 4 latest arcanas, you have spectre, wr and qop. Just wish those were marketable.
