This whole generation naming thing needs to stop.

Not all Gen X or Millennials are lazy special snowflakes. Not all boomers are anti-weed super conservative nutjobs.

So you disagree with that narrative, okay., so do a lot of people. but rejecting the concept altogether? That's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. You have the power to adjust your understanding of what generational groupings mean, and you don't have to abandon the concept completely, nor does it preclude you from holding individuals accountable.

Your generation is your cohort. There were special circumstances for every generation. Every generation experienced different things and grew up in different social climates which affect how they behave and think. Yes it's a generalization, but generalizing is sometimes useful. Sometimes it's not, and that's where discernment comes in.
