Whoopi Goldberg cosplayer gets Yelled at Comic Con for wearing Blackface

I don't really have a feeling for blackface since I am not American and have no concept of this as it isn't a thing where I am from, but I understand the "bound by the past" thing when it comes to race in America. Jim Crow laws ended only 50 or so years ago. That isn't that long ago, and it is enough for some people's parents and/or grandparents to be subjected to, which would in effect affect the upbringing of their children. Other than that, black people are still born into worse societies than white people, and are also given worse punishments for the same crimes as whites, even when taking socioeconomic into account.

Realistically I think there is a middle ground to this whole alt-right and SJW thing. I don't think there should be such a thing as white guilt or anything, but it has to be acknowledged that it wasn't that long ago that black people were second degree citizens in America and that still have some effects. I don't get the whole pointing fingers attitude these years. Everyone hates the other side, but what politics come down to is your upbringing and your priorities on subjective subjects, not being right or wrong. Both sides are evenly disruptive, although I might be biased since I am left leaning and from Denmark.
