I pay video editors by the hour to edit video. Time not spent doing their job (minus reasonable breaks, time for administrivia, etc) is stealing from the company. I think it's not foolish to assume that a percentage of people will take advantage of not having a supervisor co-present.
Not to mention WFH increases the length of feedback loops, limits creative collaboration, and a number of other things that effect output.
To me, it seems that much of the WFH talk is wrapped up in a lot of entitlement. A job has expectations. If you don't want to meet those expectations, work elsewhere that's more compatible or be an entrepreneur and be your own boss.
