Who's The Weakest Link In OGS New System?

It hinges on Martial to be honest. Against Perth OGS used him as a striker, if thats the case then Sanchez will be played as a LW ahead of James. However, Lukaku & Alexis were absent from the squad and likely will be put at ST before him, so its likely Martial will be used as the LW with James as the backup. There's no way given Sanchez wage bill that OGS won't be pressured into playing him this season, given that he's putting Lingard in a more central false CM role then that opens up a huge gap for us at Right Wing.

Against Perth we played Greenwood and Chong there and used Andreas/Lingard/Mata/Gomes all in different positions. Why would you preseason train people at a position other than the one you want them to play, answer you don't. So when Sanchez comes back he's either playing RW or LW. I would love him to pick Greenwood or Chong ahead of him but I just can't see that given the pressure internally that will be on OGS to get the best out of Alexis. & he's brought Dan James in for a reason and that is not to play behind Martial & Alexis at LW.
