[WHYBLT?] What Have You Been Listening To?

**I've been introduced to the dark beauty of black metal by this exceptional subreddit. Thanks everyone.

I've been exploring stuff recently that I can't find on Spotify, and Mgla has been my best find so far. I've only listened to Exercises in Futility because I can't bring myself to listen to another album yet. This one is just so kinetic. I feel like I want to do an olympic hammerthrow, especially on my favorite track, V. The best moments in black metal are when I feel like this.** Absolutely possessed by the moment and its martial ecstasy.

Tsunetomo Yamamoto was a great samurai who wrote in the Hagakure: "Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams."

When I read those words I get the same dreadfull chill as I get from Excercises in Futility V. Art that takes you to a place like that is what I am looking for. Thank you to r/metal for showing me the way.
