Wife thinks I'm taking Battlefront too seriously

Stupid and arrogant? Dude, I've forgotten more about games than any of these ignorant casual PC fucks will ever know.
Ok, so they guy who currently has 14 systems hooked up (and several more in storage), owns thousands of games across dozens of platforms and knows the past 30+ years history of the video games industry inside-out says consoles are better.
Meanwhile, the guy who only owns one platform, will only ever own one platform, intentionally ignores most of the industry, likely plays the same game or handful of games year-in-year-out, and prioritizes the bullshit technical aspects of video games over their actual content, says the PC is better.
Nope, PC isn’t better and never was. The level of ignorance behind such a statement is staggering to someone like me who actually knows gaming and knows it well. But also not surprising, for members of a community that actually prides itself on how insular and closed-minded it is. Consoles and arcade machines have driven every innovation in the industry since its inception; PC hasn’t done shit. Also, consoles are home to the vast majority of history’s greatest games, and that hasn't stopped.
PC is not for gamers, it's for ignorant assholes who either 1) only want to play one game (be it CS/LoL/Dota/Starcraft/whatever) over and over until the end of time or 2) value a few meaningless extra pixels over quality exclusives and timely multiplatform releases.
Consoles are, and have always been, the superior choice for what matters - actually playing games. PC users reasons for their choice of platform are based around everything but. Graphics, specs, hardware, mods… the focus is on basically anything but the content of the game itself. They're not gamers and I refuse to let them condescend to me with their bullshit, intentionally-limited viewpoint.
