Wiggle room on a $5k car?

Thanks for the warning, but that’s not really true. I’m not looking to argue but that’s kind of a misconception. Saabs have a cult following and there’s a company called Orio that still makes parts for them to this day. There’s dozens of vendors of their parts and they’re really not expensive/hard to find. The motor is a GM/Holden unit which has a great reputation and won awards. I can do a lot of wrenching myself, and if not I know lots of Saab experts and there are plenty of imported car shops that specialize in them. Build quality would be the plastic GM interior, these cars are some of the safest on the road otherwise, Saab didn’t cut corners with safety.

Thank you for giving me a realistic ballpark of negotiation room. You’ve been very helpful regardless of my disagreement with your perception of Saabs. I’ll eat my words if it’s really that much of a nightmare.
