Have you ever played Hearthstone before? They'll be in the exact same position as they are on your side of the board, just placed above your side of the board to be on the opponents side of the board. Just like how Hearthstone has always worked. Your thought process only works if your opponents cards appeared upside down.

Hearthstone isn't real-life man. I'm not sure if you ever realized that your opponents cards always faced you or not, but it's all digital and you both see the cards the exact same way and positioning. Did you know that your opponent isn't looking at upside down cards, right? On their screen, they're also on the bottom, like you, but instead of your cards being on the bottom, it's their cards.

This isn't League of Legends where there is actually two sides and the camera changes depending on your side. The cards will always face the player, so the colossal will always be in the same position, whether it's on your side of the board or your opponents side of the board.
