BMI should NEVER be considered in solidarity, obviously a lot of our favourite bodybuilders would technically be obese then.

Historically, doctors do tend to shit on bodybuilders/bulking a bit for reasons such as our caloric surpluses when the world is mostly fixated on fat loss and caloric surpluses/keto etc

What the Australian heart foundation recommends is you also measure your waist circumference.

For a male, it is considered a health risk if you’re above 94cm (37ish inches if you go by imperial) and 80cm/31.5 ish inches for a female

So measure your waist circumference and see what you get and make a decision to cut/bulk/maintain based on this
