It will take DECADES to recover from this shit

I’m just a armchair revolutionist, don’t invest much stock into me.

Though, I’d like to see police reform. It’s disgusting watching my fellow Americans killed, because our police systems don’t properly vet or punish those police who overstep.

Economic reform. The working class in America can’t function with what little the richest country on Earth offers them. Parents don’t have time to raise proper families in between their second jobs and stress of ever increasing bills. The wealth gap is disgusting and will only serve to drain America of its blood.

Healthcare Reform. It’s pathetic that a working class family who is otherwise okay (as much as one can be okay living paycheck to paycheck) lose everything due to high medical bills and things outside their control. Healthcare cost was the straw that cause my family to fall apart.

Public school reform. Our children need to have the best. Teachers deserve to be paid more. The education from kindergarten to twelfth year hasn’t improved very much, nor had the supplies and infrastructure of these schools, especially in inner cities.

Political party reform. It’s terrible to force issues into red vs blue, black vs white, simple none nuanced labels for complex nuanced issues.

One of the greatest things I loved about MLK and what he wanted to do for this country was that he spoke up a great deal about the economic struggles of working class Americans, (as well as other issues outside of just civil rights) King knew that civil rights would be a joke, if black Americans were finally accepted, but still thrown in with the economic disparity felt by other non whites, and poor whites.
