Will Smith/Chris Rock Incident Megathread

Here to unload all my opinion on this matter as reading this headline over and over again has filled my head with so much crap that my gf doesn't want to talk to me anymore as all i spew out are either politics(election is coming up) and will smith and jada's issues.

The Oscar's is absurd, everyone has seen people come up on stage while they are unwanted there. Kanye/rage against the machine guy so all of us knows that a certain level of security is needed to be in that vicinity to stop unwanted people from stepping up that stage.

That slap is uncalled for If indeed Will believes he has a calling in this earth to Love then he should've waited for a downtime and walked backstage and talked to chris about the situation. Love isn't only reserved to people who you love but all the more to also to your offenders. Because you are called to love then you treat everyone as if you love them, even when the situation is bad. This is the problem when people define their own meaning of love they turn it into a weapon.

Chris rocks joke wasn't funny i hope it's true that he didn't know about her condition.

Denzel's quote doesn't sit well with me it gives me a feeling of reinforcing the negative. Clearly Will isn't in his highest mental state and saying "when ur at your highest that's when the devil comes for you" just gives me a message that people will persecute you and try to bring you down and justifies his actions for hitting Chris because apparently in this context he's the devil. What he should have said is violence is never the answer and should've pushed for reconciliation rather than division.

The academy should've thrown him out. The host you hired just got slapped on stage and no one from the organization or company protected Chris, they should be liable to this i hope there is some form of repatriation for Chris in this matter.
