My reaction might have been : Chris Rock went too far and he got a bitch slap. That loud mouthed idiot deserved it but Will Smith should have restrained himself buuut I still reckon that idiot deserved it. Freaking out that it’s “violence” that is never deserved is naive and pathetic. Talking it up as if Chris Rock took it well is even worse. I am for Will Smith bitch slapping that idiot. Look, you can roast people to a certain degree but you also leave some family shit out of it. You can’t roast people who have cancer or a disability or race, sex, certain culture etc and a man’s wife often easily falls within that range. I reckon this time it did fall into that range of no go zone and he got the slap that he deserved. I feel worse for Will Smith and his family because of the backlash he might get.
