Will trump still demand that Mexico pay for the border wall?

Yeah, I expected the Isreal retort. It's a tiny country and a completely different geopolitical circumstance. There is no radical religious threat that can be attributed to Mexico.

I never said I didn't think Trump would win the nomination. I definitely thought there was a good chance he'd win on election night and remember remarking to a friend a few days before that the midwest wasn't at all safe. Not that Hillary would have been better.

Finally, immigration from Mexico as I stated I felt I'd get harsh disagreement with isn't a huge issue. Republicans for example kind of liked illegal immigration turned into shoddy work-visa programs because of the cheap labor it provided. Certainly we should make sure there are legal alternatives.

An America where we welcome people from much worse situations who want to come here and contribute to our society is it's strength, especially as China has officially become the largest economy in the world as of 2015. Our competitiveness as a free and open society comes from welcoming those who want to contribute to it.
