Ok, so what's the solution? Please tell us. Should we just not pull on mass or something? I'm very curious. There are people who wait months or even a year for certain characters they favor, are they supposed to just completely forget about said character and not roll to make some sort of statement? Do you really think you, as an f2p/low spender, not rolling for a character and posting here about it will truly send a noble message to mihoyo?
Then what? What happens to all the savings and the itch of rolling you've been fighting against for so long? Wait months on end again for some new special character that is good to bring back some life into your boring daily experience of the game?
What if that next character doesn't interest you enough? Wait months again for another one who's hopefully both pretty and good? Like bruh, that's so fking boring. Is getting 50-100 additional primos from abyss every 2 weeks really that worth it? Hell, I wouldn't even do it even if the game was pvp.
In most cases, I get 7* on floor 12 easy. The last 2 stars can give me some trouble, but I eventually do it while trying here and there every other day. At least it gives me something to look forward to.
I could probably do it very easy if I included Bennett and Xingqiu in my line-up, but those fks are in the mines and I prefer including Sucrose, Lisa, Fischl and Kokomi in my line-up instead because that's how I like it.
I do not mind the struggle. Ends up being satisfying in the end. Enjoying an easy clear with the most meta units is a valid and reasonable way of playing as well, but shoving that way down other people's throats to make some point is annoying.
Yeah, it is very upsetting to see a character you looked forward to given a weird kit, I'm still annoyed with Raiden's kit to this day, but there's nothing you can do about it. You can release your frustration with salty posts and sarcastic comments, but that's about it. You either pull and try to make them work or skip and wait months for next character.
Your theory's been stated many times before, and it is wrong btw. Kokomi's and Yoimiya's banners did not sell well and some players joke about it.
So on one hand, you have people saying "Kokomi is shit, just look at her sales. lol" and then others saying the few people that "pull no matter what" who rolled for Yoimiya and Kokomi are ruining the game and making the devs "lazy".
Like wtf? a banner can't have 0 sales. Their banners flopped statistically and that's about it. What more do you want? You're trying to explain away the weird decisions from mihoyo with something that doesn't make sense either. Now that's what sounds like real copium to me.
Anyway, Shenhe's kit is kinda fucked, but I'm most likely still gonna get her. Going 4 consecutive patches without getting a new character is just painful when you don't have much to do in the game.
