Man, I don’t even know about half of what you’re accusing me of supporting due to me stating that buying a game doesn’t make one transphobic. I think that’s the issue.

You look so far into this when unfortunately the general populace has no clue. And at the end of the day, again, Rowling was not ever invited to be involved in the game’s development. And given her absurd wealth, if boycotting has no effect then to even get mad over people choosing to buy it makes no sense to me.

If I look deep into anything you buy, I can find horrible things you’re supporting with that purchase. So for you to draw a line and gatekeep people for this one specific purchase is just odd to me. Like why this one specifically and not also the movies with actors/directors who are rapists & scientologists or the still very famous musicians, such a Chris Brown, who are abusive sacks of shit? Why doesn’t it make you a supporter of Scientology for seeing Top Gun Maverick but you’re a transphobe if you buy this game?

Like I don’t even disagree that boycotting this game is the right thing to do, my question is just why the weird gatekeeping with this game specifically? I have never seen an outrage over consuming a product like this for literally anything else with immoral ties.
