[Windhorst] Players are paying, with several telling ESPN they've spent more than five figures buying supplies of Kobes on the secondary market since last spring and summer.

I’ve bought a good amount of reps and people claim that some repped Kobe’s are just as good.. they are not. There was a whole thread saying how there’s barely any difference and that even the best Kobe reps (which I have several pairs of for just casual wear) are fine to wear hooping.. not true. I wore Kobe V Protros a lot last summer and they fit perfectly as soon as I put them on, perfectly snug and they felt perfect. I got a pair of the highest quality Kobe V Protro reps and within an hour of shooting the ball of my foot started to hurt. Never experienced that with real Kobe’s or any shoe for that matter.

Highly recommend reps for casual wear shoes, Jordan 1’s, etc, but it’s not worth potentially injuring yourself wearing sus quality reps on court.
