Winnipeggers sleeping in bus shacks may decline emergency shelters for good reasons: advocate

Something about beggars and being picky...

I understand their point of view, but that doesn't mean I support it or would advocate for support of their current life choices. If they want support, then perhaps they need to also agree to the idea that they need to change how they live their life.

If they want to live rough, do drugs, and carry weapons then maybe they should go wander off into the bush and live the frontier lifestyle and not beg for change and collect food from every project they can shamble to like deer in a campground.

I'm personally tired of the blight that the homeless cause in this city, and the constant enabling that props them up from having to seek actual help to improve their lot in life. The constant escalation of theft and damages to any area they move to is ridiculous. Round them up, offer them chances to clean up, improve themselves, and those who want to continue that lifestyle should be conscripted into the park services to maintain campgrounds.
