Winston Churchill

there was a tiny war i doubt you know about(based on your evident lack of knowledge) called ww2,

U r fighting me as if you are an advocate and I'm the perpetrator. So i don't know if u r British or not. But u surely are annoying.

to blame the famine on Britain at all is hilariously stupid, the Japanese are to blame.

Even if the Japanese are to blame, how the hell is it hilarious to you (i understand your petty exaggeration)? 3 million people still died. Most of them were civilians from a country who wasn't actively in the war (soldiers were drafted as they were a colony of britain. India had nothing to do with the political situation of Europe)

The Bengal Chamber of Commerce (composed mainly of British-owned firms) devised a Foodstuffs Scheme to provide preferential distribution of goods and services to workers in high-priority roles such as armed forces, war industries, civil servants and other "priority classes", to prevent them from leaving their positions. These factors were compounded by restricted access to grain: domestic sources were constrained by emergency inter-provincial trade-barriers, while aid from Churchill's war cabinet was obstentially limited.

This is an excerpt from Wikipedia regarding this whole situation. Churchill's help was limited. And even after the war, he blamed the major cause for the famine to be the population of the country. As 'they breeded like rabbits'

My point is : Churchill might have been a war hero. But he is no saint. A fact many people just can't swallow
