At that point in time weapons were relatively equal, slow to reload and not something you could walk into a school or public space and spray down crowds, nor were people behaving in that way.

The second amendment literally says this; " "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Are you or the vast majority part of a well regulated militia? If not, you don't fit under 2A. I also see absolutely nowhere that it says "on par with those of the State".

Your last statement, you really think the military larpers stand a chance against the military or a fully mobilized police and SWAT force, the feds etc because you have a stockpile of guns? Good luck. But somehow the overzealous gun owners have somehow turned that single sentence that comprises the 2nd amendment into some novel sized list of rules that you apply to current time.
