Wishlist on SA- too risqué?

I know this is an old post, but I saw a comment you had made on another thread and looked at your post history and saw this post. I felt inclined to offer a different point of view.

As usual with SLF here on Reddit you are receiving some really bad advice. The wishlist feature is one of the few things SA has done correctly. There are three reasons as to why.

  1. As you eluded to, depending upon what gift someone has bought for you, you might be able to see what there real intentions are. Did he buy you cheap lingerie and a dildo, or did he buy you an expensive designer bag?

  2. I probably go through thousands of profiles before I find someone I want to message, but when I do, I will always buy a few items from her wishlist to make my intent known and to separate myself from the hoard of guys filling up her inbox. Depending upon how confident I am that she is real, my level of interest, and how many other offers I think she might be getting, will make a difference as to my level of gifting. My normal amount spent on gift/gifts is usually around five thousand, but I have dropped twenty when I thought I found “the one” a few times.

  3. The worst that can happen is someone buys you something. Against what has been have said here, no one is going to pass on you because you have a wish list. We men are visual creatures, as long as you have good photos and we find you attractive, we will reach out.

There are some super wealthy men that enjoy the Sugaring lifestyle that do browse SA, so don’t sell yourself short because of bad advice on Reddit.

On a different note, can the wishlist function actually be turned off? I have seen where girls have not picked out gifts they wanted on the list, but the option to buy gifts is still available?
