Witcher 3 patch 1.0.3 out now!

It's the truth according to Riva Tuner. I do have it over clocked beyond factory specs, but just a tiny bit. My CPU is an AMD quad core 4ghz, 8gb of some good RAM, and an older SSD.

It does dip every once in a while when it's streaming assets, but I'd say it's once, isolated, every ten minutes. Other than that, it's silky. Everything is on high other than the stuff I mentioned, shadows and sharpening, all post processing on, no hair works and SSAO rather than HBAO+.

I guess I only played a few hours of Witcher 2 because I found it to be fun but clunky.... I couldn't even figure out how to meditate or advance time. The combat seemed a little awkward. I will definitely go back and play it after I've seen what they are capable of.

You sound like you are complaining, honestly, but that's fine. I guess I understand having your dear franchise changed, but from an outsiders perspective being totally honest you sound way overly critical. I don't see the art issues you have, and I have always loved saturation, especially in fantasy.

The controls took getting used to, but I was crushing battles (took me a couple reloads, operator error) on the hardest difficulty and dipping around on my horse while quite drunk yesterday, so I don't think it's too much to overcome. I didn't notice it after two hours.

I have always been an optimist, though, and when something has this many remarkable, totally outstanding qualities, it's possible I am smitten or under its spell. I might be overlooking more things than I admit, but I don't think so, I've searched myself.

This is truly one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had in my life, and I've been playing them for 25 years. I cannot believe the writing and the issues they tackle, what a fucking masterpiece.
