Probably because they were forced to sell the game for $10. Tons of people were willing risk $10 for a AAA game that'll get patched eventually.

My point is that it eventually became a finished product and decent game. It's that how it got to that point was so egregious it shouldn't be getting further support until they reprove themselves.

It's sucks because they were a proven studio with the Witcher series. They bungled that good will but still get support.

Days Gone was the first AAA game for Bend Studio, they did a great job for a small studio and a first attempt at AAA. They also didn't lie to the public and Sony. There game didn't get taken down and forced to sell for $10. There game made it into the PlayStation Plus free catalog. Which is designed to attract people outside the playstation ecosystem.
