With AI on the rise, is it time to join a union?

Then why on earth do we pay taxes like we do? Everything they do to us is done with money we’ve handed to them under threat. We were promised no taxation without representation as a way of shutting us up when they steal our money, and now they just shut down our ability to elect representation.

In my mind, the only thing that’s going to get anything moving is the threat of a massive, nationwide refusal to pay taxes under any sort of shady circumstances. Like, literally nobody in Georgia should have to pay federal taxes right now. Arizona is close behind. Texas, same. What will it take for people to realize that we hold the money, and the money is the power? Probably about ten minutes after it’s too late and we’re ran by someone like Putin.

It’s nice to see people pay more attention to politics than we ever did, even if the way we got here was fucked. When will we start looking at how they treat (and mistreat, usually) our money? It could help a lot more people if it stayed in their pockets vs handing it to the government and then being called a beggar or grifter when you need some help. What a fucking mess.
