With all the discussion about Net Neutrality, this is a pretty sobering look at why Net Neutrality rules are actually a bad thing. If you love freedom and free markets and believe that competition is the best regulator, take a look and up-vote for awareness!

God damn it folks, in absence of competition - the situation for ALMOST ALL Americans, the conservative position IS TO REGULATE.

This narrative is being co-opted by big money ISP's, and one of Trump's biggest stances is to drain the swamp of this bullshit.

Most Americans have just one ISP choice, some have two, a tiny few have three.

Until we have 4-5 players in a market, we 100% absolutely MUST REGULATE.

In economics, we have two choices: 1. Fierce competition 2. Fierce regulation

There is no middle ground. I'm absolutely amazed that my fellow pedes are buying the big swam entrenched telecom/ISP positions - I'm almost ashamed at The_Donald at this position.

We have a broken marketplace, ISP wise. The fix isn't to lower regulations, and keep out competition.

Without net neutrality, our prices will rise - content providers will pay just to NOT be throttled, and monstrous/huge companies profits will dramatically increase.

Don't folks realize that bypassing net neutrality gives EDITORIAL control over the world's information, to private companies? Twitter, Google, Facebook - they're ALREADY censoring shit. If we lose net neutrality, we'll see our ISP's censoring content they deem to be "hate speech". Wait until Fox News, The Daily Caller, and The_Donald are all blocked by your ISP for "hateful content".

STOP buying the party line 100%, Trump came into to break up that game. Yeah, I'm gonna say it - he's WRONG on net neutrality. Absolutely NO party, absolutely NO politician is 100% correct on everything. Donald J. Trump is the best thing to happen since we won the Revolutionary War - I'll give him a pass for a fuck up now and again.
