With all the PSVR hype, I thought I’d share this compact PlayStation hub I built that makes VR more accessible and easier to manage

Note: this may not work if you have cats

Just a simple hub made from 7 spare pieces of wood. It’s ugly as shit and I still need to paint it but I’m very lazy, and I’d have to take everything off of it.

Nothing negative has happened to my VR headset or entire system actually since I placed it on its home 1 year ago. We have a German Shepherd too that stomps into the room sometimes.

If you’ll note, there’s a space beneath the hub, the whole thing sits on two wooden planks, which allows for easy cable management. The VR headset —> HDMI split gets tucked comfortably underneath when not in use, as well as my power strip and other various cables.

Last thing I need to build is something for the AIM controller, which I just keep in its original box on the left side of the hub. So it’s still not a hassle but I’m an aesthetics person even if I’m lazy.

Cheers everyone, I’m off to buy Astro Bot tomorrow.
