With the 'Big Little Lies' finale tonight, a deep dive into Nicole Kidman's career: How many fucking times does she have to prove herself?

What an excessively long article. Hard to take it serious when it seems to praise Kidman for literally every role she's ever had and implies sexism is the reason behind people not praising all of those roles, not having her face on the dollar bill, or not having a golden statue in the center of the white house. She gets praise for her good roles, and doesn't for her bad roles, just like everyone else. I've been interested in almost none of her movies (look at her IMDB, I pretty much haven't heard of anything she's acted in since The Golden Compass), and seeing her as the lead actor in a movie would probably turn me off from seeing it. Again, the sexist undertones of the article were just ridiculous. Not everything is because of people being sexist. Also, the thing about acting is that you usually need to KEEP DOING IT AT A HIGH LEVEL. Don't tell me to praise her early Australian stuff or like her Batman role because she was great in Big Little Lies.

I want to see an article like this for someone like...Colin Farrell. He was fucking awesome in True Detective 2, therefore I think it's absolutely ridiculous no one is praising him for his roles in such great hits as Phone Booth, Miami Vice, Swat, or Daredevil.
