With Dragon Quest X coming to Switch....

This game is very unique in it's ways. Now coming from someone who's played XIV from re-release "Realm Reborn" 2.0 to about 3.5 right before Storm Blood, That this game is generally like traditional MMOs you do quests, story, ton of side stuff, just major quests city, there's also a ton of great other features to go along with game play its just very unique in its way. The dungeons aren't to big 4 maners an can easily be played solo/with a small group. That being said I think it just has more potential as a game than XIV an other MMOs with just same 2 dungeon 1 raid, then 1 boss updates every time an then farm tomes, every time or get raid for endgame equips which you can just wait for, DQ X is more like a challenge. The market is good an easy an crafting is it majority of its weapons an equips past 26+ which makes you to play more for you to get that stuff or get money because stuffs pricey honestly i love it. Easily X has potential in the West but the market an the community isn't there. In 2014 the population for DQ X was about 300 k, That's pretty good for just Japan region but honestly not enough, with all there updates an time putting it on PC probably helped they sit at about 1 million + players which really isn't a lot compared to games like XIV with 10 million subs it just wont profit/ the game is very very text heavy/ a lot of stuff has come out for it , it just wouldn't make sense to hope for this game if nothing is said past Nintendo Switch release in Japan Sept. 21st last hope. But to me I see no way it's coming out to westerns so i'm playing now in Japanese an it's actually pretty fun the game play, dungeons, cut scenes actually intrigue me a lot they are always action packed. it REALLY makes me want to learn japanese to know story that good.

It is very tough with language barrier but at first but you get used to everything really fast. There is a small Discord group (https://discord.gg/aGZGf3) just me and a few friends for DQ X on here but its a Dragon Quest Discord an we'd love a bigger community to talk about these types of games an new stuff, old stuff, anything. As well as a bigger community on Dragons Den Forums/Woodus (Forums Has very useful information to guide you)

Your best bet if you want to play an MMO that'll give you hours of play an fun game play Id suggest it even tho VPN is a pain you can use free stuff or pay for it its only like 40-50$ a year. It's worth playing it now an enjoying, it is a 5 year old MMO.
