I'm tired of being solo facing off against 3 man queues consistently. It's really really fucking hard to play against that as a solo player and especially if your teammates are queued together. They don't put priority on your lane for help when you get counter picked, or don't want to listen to pings from somebody from outside their group of friends.

In terms of role selection they should just get rid of fill. Everybody at this point knows that it's basically support at this point. I do think a duo roles choice is better for the game in general because it forces people to better understand at least how 2 positions in the game work. I thought they also said that they would better incentivize people who choose the lesser desired roles of fill/support. Hex tech crafting offers a perfect opportunity here. RP discounts is also an idea they may want to consider. Exclusive icons for achievements is another option.

Honestly, wtf does riot do all day to delay making the ranked and role selection system better??? They could release solo only queue today and people would be fine with how it is. Only dynamic ranked queue would suffer and they are intent in making sure that it doesn't fail because that was their whole new roadmap plan for the future. At the end of they day most ranked players want solo/duo queue back. Let dynamic queue remain for normals and bring team ranked back for it.

Normal team builder also ought to come back and replace blind pick. When new champs or skins are released some people want to be able to try and test it out in a normal game without the hassle of trying to fight for that pick.

Sorry rant over. Just supremely pissed that they drag their foot on ranked solo queue and it leads to what we all suspected in it becoming most likely scrapped.
