With winter right around the corner I figured I’d ask for some warm advice. Does anyone wear winter golf gloves? If you do what do you recommend? What other advice do y’all have to stay warm when playing?

I just finished my first round with a pair of gloves by powerbilt, a pure impulse buy at the register of a golf shop and cheaper than the footjoy gloves next to them. It was between 42 and 49 degrees during my round, and I was fine.

Overall, best advice is to just wear layers. If you're used to being out in the cold, then it's probably exactly what you'd think. If golf is the first/best reason you've had to choose to be outside at these temps, I'll just tell you: I wore a long sleeve tee shirt under a golf shirt under a 1/4 zip sweater, long underwear under golf pants, the gloves and a baseball cap. I just wore regular athletic socks but I probably should have worn two pairs in retrospect. I got by with one, but two pairs would be much more comfortable.
