Witness: Dead Oregon militiaman "charged" at cops

i just don't understand with them knowing the things this guy said these guys being armed, how in the world did none of the offficers have the body cams and if they did why was it not turned on? they need to be mandatory and turned on for every stop. if video is going to be deleted, there needs to be a valid reason. to make sure all of this happens, the cameras need to be streamed to the station live and saved onto dvds which in turn will be filed. no if ands or buts about. have a person working there reviewing videos as they happen and making sure to contact said officer if he "forgets" to turn on camera. officer must keep camera charged at all times during shift. 3 warnings to keep it charged during shift. 4th suspended for a day with pay (such bs that cops are rewarded with paid vacations when they fuck up.) 5th time week suspension with pay. 6th time 1 week suspension no pay 7th time and you're fired. it's a joke to get this many chances, but come on now these are police officers we are talking about. they can do terrible things and commit crimes then be given a paid vacation. i only cops would get rewarded for being a shithead. that being said, there are some great cops, but they are few and far between where i live. i remember one time i forgot to take out the trash and my mom instead threw out all my stuff. by the time i realized i was only left with a pair of tube socks that didn't match, a nintendo wii game. i had ps3 and a melted bag of ice. just a day in the life. funny thing is, i used those tube socks to jerk off in for years. i fuckin showed her. back to the cameras, they are essential. they may not be used to spy on subjects without warrant. should only be used when person is aware. thank you for reading my long post
