WMR at $170 or Rift S at $320?

I see the your very passionate about VR! That's great! Me as well.

To clarify, the rift S is not a bad headset. I'm not hating on it. I think they made some good choices. Inside out tracking for example is the future. Having to setup base stations with the valve index going into the year 2020 is just too tedious and unrealistic for most normal households.

That being said, you can have a great VR experience while only spending the $170 for a wmr headset with almost identical, sometimes better specs. You can't go wrong either way. Although as I mentioned above in another comment, the rift will have more compatibility right out of the box, although I have found wmr pretty much works fine with everything, including beat saber, and gorn.
