[Wojnarowski] ESPN reporting on woman reaching out to Knicks to mediate a Kristaps Porzingis payment in aftermath of alleged assault. Story includes emails and texts, including interaction between her and Porzingis.

It's more than just that. There's also the fact that she claims she was raped, but agreed not to report it to the police if he paid her $68,000 and returned her sandals. She explicitly told the Knicks "don't report this to the police, or bench him, just make sure he gives me $68,000. I have this contract as proof he agreed to it, although his name is misspelled. Also I had a $10,000 surgery, no need to repay me for that. Also, I don't have any documentation proving it, but it happened."

It's just suspicious all around, and not clear what happened either way.

Demonizing Porzingis immediately after the first report came out was wrong. Demonizing the accuser after a followup report is wrong. Let the legal process handle it. It's not perfect, but it's better than reddit justice.
