Don't think anybody does that. There are definitely people who brag about how their PlayStation is better than Xbox and vice-versa.

I just think this stupid flame war should stop. If someone wants to just play games without caring about anything other than user experience, they'll just buy a console. If they want to do more, they'll buy a PC.

People are buying PCs now just so they have a reason to act like a big-man and shit on others. Theres a reason having a gaming PC is associated with being a nerd and a neckbeard.

There a communities for both of these, and I think they should coexist. The only thing they have in common is wanting to play games, the actual communities are vastly different so they shouldn't be fighting.

How about these communities fuck off entirely? Just play the games, not worship a fucking brand or platform.

I own a PC and consider it to be much better than a console, for me. I know that for many people the ease of use of a console is nice, so I won't force my choice onto them. I think this is how we should all think and behave, but I know there will always be extremists.

This is how people should think. In reality though it's a bunch of nerds talking shit because they have nothing better to do.
