A woman fainted at a Bernie Sanders rally in Birmingham, Alabama. Instead of continuing his speech, Bernie waited until the paramedics came to take her away and make sure she was fine. A man for the people, everyone! So classy!

I wish I had your confidence that the 70% of Americans who are wary of voting for a socialist will just change their minds when Sanders gets to explain himself, but that is naive. I am glad you think he cares about the people and is driven by the greater good (which may be true) but such motives are often fake and even if true, aren't relevant to policy.

How can Bernie get ANY of his agendy through Congress? Hillary won't fare better but she at least is realistic about what she can pass.

Sanders intends to tear apart the current two-party system? That is not possible as long as we have our current voting system. If we have first-past-the-post voting, we will have 2 parties. That's simply an effect of the way in which we calculcate votes. Bernie cannot change that through sheer force of will. I agree that the current 2 party system hurts us - but Bernie can't change that.

You say that Bernie will reform our campaign financing system. HOW? He has no plan to overturn Citizen's United. Short of a Constitutional amendment (that has very little chance of happening) how will Bernie change our campaign finance system? You say a lot of broad claims that sound good, but I don't see ANY specifics.

I respect his leadership on civil rights and his history with MLK, but for all Sander's good intentions I don't see any specifics on how he will accomplish it. Furthermore, you are attempting to convert a Hillary supporter to a Sanders supporter (which I respect) yet you say things like Bernie has handled "Hillary's endless slander and criticism." Has it occurred to you that I agree with some of Hillary's critique's of Sanders?

Furthermore, Sanders does seem outmatched when discussing terrorism and nothing you said changes that. I am very worried Trump would bully him on a debate stage.

Lastly, you seem nice. But the fact that you can't use affect and effect in the right grammatical context shocks me. We are discussing who should be the next President, yet you make basic grammar mistakes. It's a small thing (I'm sure I have made mistakes too) but I hope you understand why such mistakes bother me when we are discussing such important issues. If Bernie is nominated, I will support him but I am incredibly worried he will be the Democrat's Goldwater.
