Woman finds out her Uber driver is voice of "you've got mail"

Go back to /r/uberdrivers with the rest of your miserable brethren. I swear that place is the most unhappy corner of the internet -- nothing but complaining about and demeaning their customers.

I can immediately tell when my driver is one of you lot, and you're right, they never get a dime from me. I check my rating as soon as I get out of the car, and if they ding me for not tipping they get a 1-star in return.

On the other hand, when I get a driver who is actually pleasant to speak with and doesn't seem like they hate my guts just for being a customer, I tip ~10-20% of the fare (never less than $2). I know it's not a lot, but I'm not rich and it's about all I can do.

If you aren't getting tips, it's because you either work in a poverse area (understandable that people with no money cannot tip) or you're a douche.
