The Woman King vs. the True Story of Dahomey's Female Warriors

Honestly, I know to people who are calling me out saying it’s a film with an alien and that I’m being an idiot for saying theres historical inaccuracies lol

But every little detail counts. Especially when you involve physicality. Things like sweating tells us so much to us suspending our disbelief. And that is ultimately what a film aspires to do. Suspend our disbelief.

So when we’re watching Prey and thinking, why can’t they just get little things right, it throws you off. I liked that she whistled to call the predator as that’s apparently a forbidden thing one does to call upon an evil spirit.

But for me, the bad outweighed the good with Prey. From the setting, to the plot, to the creature itself.
