4 dog parks have been closed down in and around Denver in the last 14 months! Always and only for people not picking up their dogs poop. Both the one in highlands ranch and the one in Evergreen that closed each had in excess of 700 lbs. of poop that volunteers picked up after they closed down. Evergreen it was like 1200lbs. of shit. The primary reason these 4 dog parks closed for everyone is that all of the poop left behind by these newcomers to Colorado, was leaching into the local ground water and killing all the vegetation nearby, as well as draining into the local rivers and killing fish and water foul. I guess you could call it a shit-show.
