Woman loses her autistic kid, proceeds to write a forum letter blaming public transport for letting the kid take a bus to Changi airport

Society outside of this cesspool of a subreddit did react to her pleas and did actually help, if what she wrote in her letter is to be believed.

The reaction amongst the cynical and self-righteous in here however, is the complete opposite. Because the tone of her letter didn't sit well within the echo chamber here, therefore going after the mother is fair game. Who cares right? Whatever question she is asking, it's not important because she didn't prostrate herself before the /r/Singapore crowd! Why didn't she open her letter claiming her own responsibility first before asking a question? How offensive! I bet she was banging her table, all puffed up nose high up in the air and demanding for others to cover for her shortcomings as a mother!

If you're really interested to help someone, offer some constructive criticism. Blaming the mother simply because she did not preface her letter by saying she made a mistake is meaningless finger pointing. A woman lost her autistic child and now wants to know if bus drivers do their checks on kids (or passengers) who board without passes and how they handle such situations. It's a fair question.
