Photographer here with all the big equipment people recognize from white house press briefings and can’t help but notice.

I worked my way into pro sports/concert photography 20 years ago, shooting tons of teams/bands you all know. I naturally used that expensive equipment to capture my young son growing up on playgrounds, school plays, and baseball games.

I can’t tell you how many times I had to prove to Karens I wasn’t a pedophile. My son is an adult now, so it hasn’t been an issue for some years.

I can’t even imagine pulling my camera out now at a youth event for a grandchild. It makes me sad even thinking about the likely tasing, ruckus, and court hearings for trying to capture the triumph of a first base hit.
