Woman pepper sprayed me, twice. Police said there won't be any charges because it was a "misunderstanding" and not malicious.

I know this will get downvoted like hell, but its seem really coldhearted to want to press charges against the woman. This poor lady was probably attacked before in a similar situation, and didn't use pepper spray because she thought she was overreacting. Women are often blamed if they're attacked and don't try to defend themselves, even though there are often no signs you're going to be attacked besides a creepy guy walking behind you. I understand pepper spray is super painful. I was once wrongfully pepper sprayed (by the police no less). But if there is no permanent damage done, I can't see why you won't let this go, especially knowing that she was attacked in the past.
