I have black friends, Latino friends, Asian friends. All of them have astounding stories of experiencing racism. None of them have ever shared anything like this.

This is not normal behavior for a woman in a drug store. Does she appear to be a racist piece of shit? Most likely. Is she also suffering a mental breakdown? Most likely.

Side note, I once met a guy with Tourette’s who was constantly compelled to do, as he put it, the riskiest thing that occurred to him in a given situation. This included cutting himself with knives, trying to put his hand down a garbage disposal, and yelling the n-word on a bus full of African Americans. He wasn’t racist, but had compulsions towards wrong behavior. He yelled because he knew it was wrong and inappropriate and couldn’t stop himself.
