In the younger generation in America I see this all the time on social media. Almost every day I scroll through my twitter feed I see tweet and retweets from other women around the same age as me celebrating how men suck and are scum of the earth. As soon as anyone makes a comment about women, all hell breaks loose and those people are crucified in replies. These women are also the same people who advocate for equality. The double standard is ridiculous and reading those tweets truly makes me sad. I’m sorry if these people have been hurt by the opposite gender, but maybe it’s not a question of gender but rather a question of integrity in people as a whole.
