My first reactions to redesigns, in order of appearance:

• Bit of a Soviet vibe and gritty-scrap-tech, but really nice. [Samus Aran]
• Casual Witch, the most casual of witches! [Scarlet Witch]
• Possibly better than the original design, but piercings always make me feel disturbed. [Storm]
• Tim Burton presents: Helena Bonham Carter as Queen of Hearts... [Betty Boop]
• (too disturbed by large nose ring to comment) [Morrigan]
• On the one hand, pants, kneepads and armpads. On the other hand, garter belt. On the gripping hand, face like a Russian puppet. [Chun Li]
• ...and Johhny Depp as Mad Hatter. [the Great Fairy]
• Much better and dignified. [Emma Frost]
• Just because she's like an archmage, she has to wear a robe. I see how it is. Hrmph. [Jean Grey/the Phoenix]

• Yes! [Fran]

• YEEES! [Drow Ranger]
• YE- oh, wait, it's a double Zuko. Heh. [Gamorra]
• You took something bland and made it fantastic and gorgeous. [Lady Death]
• Somehow the new one sells "barbarian warrior" better despite being more clothed. Bit of a shame the hair got shorter, though. [Nariko]
• Ohhhh, this armour is SOOOO GOOOOOD. [Pirotess]
• Three more interesting, more distinctive face and a visual pun? Tona Stark, you're a great art designer. o7 [Power Girl]
• Oh. Looks good. I dig the tactleneck and big cargo pockets. Next- HOLY HELL IS THAT THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL DESIGN ON THE LEFT - ... - ... - Ewwwww. [Seven of Nine]
• She looks like a Wonder Woman redesign. Different hair colour, different hair type, crown-mask thing is gone... I can't tell if that's the same character. [Star Sapphire]
• The new design is basically the same as the old, except now with 100% less impracticality, 100% less eyesore and 98% less ridiculousness. That last remaining 2% is in boob plate. But to be fair, this one looks like the metal was poured on breasts in resting and comfortable position. Which sort of fits with the rest of the armour looking like body-fitted to the user. Huh.
